November 2 - Campaign with Eric, Jerry, Scott, Linda and Supporters

Our Congressman Jerry Nadler, City Comptroller Scott Stringer, Assembly Member Linda B. Rosenthal, Community Free Democrats, our sister political clubs and many of your neighbors will campaign with Attorney General Eric Schneiderman as he seeks re-election.

RSVP to District Leader Joan Paylo, cfdjoan@aol.com.

If you watched the NYS Attorney General Debate Thursday night, you heard our AG Eric Schneiderman's Republican opponent snidely slam Eric's Upper West Side roots two or three times early on in the debate.

Let's fight back.  Votes from the Upper West Side alone could make or break Eric's margin of victory.

Please join CFD, community leaders and members of other Westside political clubs at Fairway on Sunday to demonstrate our support for our "hometown hero" Eric Schneiderman.

Support our own Attorney General Eric Schneiderman at the rally and on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 4.  As the "People's Lawyer," he defends a woman's right to choose, crusades for gun safety, sees that financial institutions pay for their misdeeds, litigates for workers' rights, pressures upstart businesses like Uber and airbnb to abide by State Law, and that's just for starters.

October 10 - Voter Registration Deadline

Tell your family, friends and co-workers:

This Friday, Oct. 10, 2014, is the last day to register to vote in the General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

Applications must be postmarked no later than Oct. 10, or you can register in person by close of business Oct. 10 at the Board of Elections offices at 200 Varick St., 6th floor, open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

You may download a Voter Registration Application from the Board of Elections web site – www.vote.nyc.ny.us – and mail it in by the deadline.  Or, if you have a NYS Drivers License, you can register online at www.my.dmv.ny.gov/crm/ by following instructions on the State's site.

Our Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has a vocal and well-funded opponent, and we want to get as many votes as possible for Governor Cuomo on the Democratic Line so that the Upper West Side and CFD can keep our strong, weighted voting power in County Committee, State Committee and Judicial Conventions for the next four years.

Please help us get the word out.
